Skoda India showcased the new generation model of its luxury sedan car Superb at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Skoda has announced that the new model will be launched in India in the next 18 months.
Exterior Looks and Designs:
The fourth-generation Skoda Superb was first showcased globally in 2023. It features a new design inside and out. The butterfly grille has been retained with a new pattern. While the LED headlamps are sleeker than before. The model also features wraparound LED tail lights. While the sedan runs on 19-inch big alloy wheels.
Overall styling is more angular, sharp and familiar to the Superb family. This new sedan from Skoda is more spacious than its predecessor, which means better headroom and legroom for rear passengers.
Skoda Superb 2025 Power and Performance:
Globally, the Superb gets an All-Wheel-Drive(AWD) as well as 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre plug-in hybrid engine options. A diesel engine option is also expected to come to India. However, Globally the 2.0L diesel engine in the Superb is available in two options which is 144 bhp and 189 bhp.
Sliding into its interior:
The car gets ambient lighting, premium surround sound system, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats with ventilation function, wireless charging and more.
From a safety point of view, Skoda has offered 10 airbags, park assist, ISOFIX anchorage and ADAS in this model.
So How Much Does This New Skoda Sedan Cost?
In the market we can see this sedan competing against cars like the new-generation Toyota Camry Hybrid, which was launched in India late last year.
