Aprilia has brought back its street bike, the Shiver 900. This bike has seen a series of updates but will be available for sale only in China at the moment.
Italian two-wheeler manufacturer company Aprilia used to retail the Shiver 900 across the globe for a few years. To be honest, this motorcycle used to be available in India as well, and it did fetch some limited buyers. However, the motorcycle got discontinued when the strict norms were introduced. The retail of the Shiver 900 did not make the company justify the extra investment it needed to make on the engine for upgrading it.
On the features point of view, there aren’t many new items other than a keyless ignition. When it comes to power, the Shiver 900 receives the 89 bhp engine that has decent low-end torque as well. The new generation receives updated styling in the form of new body panels, new LED lights, and an updated tail section. The new Shiver 900 will be available on sale in China in the near future, and as per usual, it will be very expensive, costing approximately 69,950 yuan, which is equivalent to Rs 8.35 lakhs (excluding taxes). Since there is no market for this kind of bike in India, Aprilia will not be bringing the Shiver 900 here.
