Apart from the Congress-BJP in this election, the Aam Aadmi Party, which emerged from the corruption movement this time, was also there. The election for the Trinagar Assembly seat was very interesting. Here, the BJP had expressed confidence in Nand Kishore Garg. This time, Nand Kishore Garg avenged his last two defeats by registering a win. Anil Bhardwaj, who won from here in 2008, slipped to third place this time. Aam Aadmi Party’s Jitendra Singh Tomar came second.
