UP Weather Alert: IMD Predicts Rain, Temperature Dip, and Fog

UP Weather Alert: Hey there, folks! February is a month of surprises, and the weather in Uttar Pradesh is no exception. We’re expecting a bit of a rollercoaster ride with sunshine, showers, and even a slight dip in temperatures. So, if you’re in UP, keep your umbrellas handy and your jackets close by!

Rain Alert for 24 Districts!

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rainfall in 24 districts of UP starting today. So, if you’re in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Budha Nagar, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Mathura, Aligarh, Agra, Hathras, Etawah, Firozabad, Bareilly, Rampur, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, or Pilibhit, be prepared for a drizzle or two!

Fog and More Rain on the Horizon:

Some districts might experience light fog in the early mornings and late nights. There’s also a chance of light rain in some areas on February 4th, but things should clear up by the 5th.

Western Disturbance to the Rescue:

Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava, a meteorologist at BHU, has informed us that a fresh western disturbance will hit North-West India on February 3rd and 8th. This could bring some much-needed cloud cover and rainfall, which might lead to a slight drop in both maximum and minimum temperatures.

Ayodhya: The Coldest Spot:

According to the Ammausi Meteorological Center in Lucknow, Ayodhya was the coldest place in UP on Sunday, with a minimum temperature of 9.0 degrees Celsius.
