Vintage-Retro Damd Honda WR-V: All Set For Tokyo Drift!

The WR-V is ready to make a special show. A Japanese modifier has modified the WR-V, giving it a vintage-retro look. This modified version of the WR-V was showcased at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2025, along with other customized vehicles by the same modifier.

Honda WR-V has already picked up popularity in Japan. Now, The vehicle is attracting even more attention and popularity with this new retro modification model at the Tokyo Auto Salon.

Vintage restyling of the WR-V:

Currently, The most prominent aspect of the new WR-V is its retro look. The front of the vehicle has been done away with altogether. The newly installed grille looks like a Jeep Cherokee’s grill.

This modified SUV boasts two square-shaped halogen headlights mounted within a metallic grille housing. It also gets halogen fog lamps, new bumper, and big off-road tires.

No Mechanical Modifications:

However, The body is completely redesigned, but the mechanics of the SUV remain unchanged. It still has the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which is mated with a CVT transmission for more smoothness and better fuel efficiency.

The modifications done in the SUV are cosmetics only. Hence, the drivers have the same driving experience as the regular WR-V.

Traditional Interior Decors:

The interior design also gives a retro vibe. Now, The seats are in fabric with a checkered pattern and bright blue color. The car makes you think of the 60s-70s. It is nostalgic because the elements of the era have been used along with contemporary comfort that makes this WR-V stand out.
