Volkswagen Tera: The Upcoming Beast To Dominate The Segment!

Volkswagen is all set to introduce its SUV Tera, for the Indian market. The SUV will be equipped with aggressive styling and lots of tech-loaded features.

In the market, we can see this SUV to compete with the Skoda Kylaq, Kia Sonet and other cars that currently dominate the segment. So, let’s know about this new SUV in details;

VW Tera Power and Performance:

The Tera SUV is expected to come with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder TSI petrol engine. The engine would be expected to produce up to 118 bhp and 169 nm of torque which would be mated with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

VW Tera Exterior and Design:

The SUV’s front carries a sleek single-slat grille and LED headlamps. Coming onto the side profile, This SUV features blacked-out alloy wheels and B-pillars, A-pillar-mounted ORVMs, and a dual-tone roof with reverse black roof rails. The wheel-arches are squared off with tough plastic. Overall the side profile gives a bold SUV feel to the Tera.

In the rear we can see wraparound LED tail lamps linked with a trendy light bar via the tailgate. The dynamic design is also uplifted by a built-in spoiler, rear wiper, and washer, together with a sporty bumper sporting a decent skid plate.

What’s about safety?

Well, A lot of details are to be announced officially but it is sure that the SUV will have a good control on the safety feature. It may offer six airbags, electronic stability control, and rear AC vents for extra comfort. Because, it’s the basic safety features, and due to the new norms issued by the Government of India it is mandatory to give basic safety features in all the cars as standard.

Interior and Features:

Slide into its interior, Wait! why is it so dark here? Oh well, the company has not revealed the information of the interior design and content yet. Nevertheless, it will come with advanced features.

The upcoming Tera SUV may feature ventilated front seats, a touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, an all-digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, and paddle shifters.
