Google Pixel 10 Series Might Surprise Everyone With Its Early Launch Schedule

Pixel 10 Series: Google might be gearing up for an earlier-than-anticipated release of its forthcoming Pixel 10 series. What was initially mild speculation has now taken root with a new invite being sent to some Pixel Superfans in the UK. The private event in London, which is planned for June 27, suggests that there is a dramatic change in Google’s flagship phone release plan for 2025.

Exclusive Event Sparks Pixel 10 Buzz

As per Android Authority, Google has invited 25 Pixel Superfans to a special Pixel Penthouse event in London. The invitation includes hands-on experience with pre-release Pixel devices and features, which strongly suggests the availability of Pixel 10 series prototypes. While the devices are not specified explicitly, no other significant Pixel hardware is due out this year, so the focus will probably be on the Pixel 10 range.

Launch Timeline Could Be Pulled Forward

Contrary to the Pixel 9 that came out last year in August, the Pixel 10 series might surface as soon as late June or July. How the event is scheduled for Superfans, which is positioned as an exclusive pre-launch event, further supports the likely changed release schedule. Devices that could come under this new series include the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and even a possible Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

Android 16 Rollout Bolsters the Argument

Following up on the reports of an early launch is the rapid development of Android 16. Google has assured us that the stable build of its new-gen OS will arrive by the end of Q2 2025. This is several months faster than Android 15’s release cycle and might be timed to arrive when the Pixel 10 series does. The new handsets are also said to come powered by a fast TSMC-produced Tensor G5 chipset running on a 3nm architecture.

Google’s Plan to Outcompete the Competition

An earlier Pixel release would allow Google to grab the headlines ahead of competition from the likes of Apple and Samsung in their respective flagships. Apple’s iPhone 17 will arrive in September, while Samsung will reportedly drop the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in July. By releasing early, Google would be the one that captures the headlines at a prime selling time. Even if the June 27 event is merely a teaser, it makes quite plain that Google is hitting the gas in 2025.
