iPhone 17 leak indicated a bigger screen and a 120Hz display for the normal model
iPhone 17 leak: As per leaks, the ordinary variant of Apple's iPhone 17 is expected to include a 6.3-inch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which is unique for non-Pro models. With a speculated four-model portfolio expected this year, this change could reduce the gap between entry-level and Pro products.

iPhone 17 leak: As per recent reports, Apple’s next iPhone 17 series would have a major improvement in display technology over the current model. The next-generation devices have not yet been formally announced by Apple, but regular rumors from industry insiders continue to provide insight into what might be next.
Renowned display industry analyst Ross Young, who provided the information on X, claims that the basic iPhone 17 may have a larger 6.3-inch screen, which would be precisely 6.27 inches in size, than the 6.1-inch screen on the iPhone 16 from the previous year. Additionally, a 120Hz refresh rate is anticipated to be supported by the base model, which would represent a significant change in the way Apple is going to its entry-level flagship.
Up until now, only Apple’s Pro range of iPhones had the faster refresh rate ProMotion screens. These panels dynamically modify refresh rates to improve scrolling speed and visual fluidity. Apple seems to be closing the gap between its ordinary and Pro models by adding this capability to the normal iPhone 17.
While the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models had 120Hz screens, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models came with a conventional 60Hz refresh rate. The iPhone 17 will be the first non-Pro iPhone to use the smoother display technology if the leak turns out to be true. This could improve the user experience without having an upgrade to the more expensive models.
A four-model lineup this year—the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max—has been suggested by design leaks and initial specifications. While the Pro model is expected to have the same 6.3-inch screen as the base model, the iPhone 17 Air is rumored to have a larger 6.5-inch screen.
There are also plans to improve performance. It is predicted that the A18 or A19 processor and 8GB of RAM will power the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air. According to previous leaks, the Pro and Pro Max models might come with 12GB of RAM and the new A19 Pro processor.
