OnePlus launched these two new phones, which will have a fast processor and a big battery

OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra launched in China on Tuesday. The MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor-powered OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition was released with it. Both phones are powered by ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15. Both have a method for glacier cooling. Also, they have optical fingerprint scanners built into the display. The OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, which launched in China in December 2024, will be joined by these variants.

Pricing and availability of the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition

The 12GB+256GB model of the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra prices CNY 2,499, or about Rs. 29,700. At CNY 2,799 (around Rs. 33,200), CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 35,600), and CNY 3,299 (around Rs. 39,200), the phone is also offered in 16GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB versions.

Customers may also purchase the top model, priced at CNY 3,799 (about Rs. 45,100) and has 16GB+1TB of RAM and storage. It comes in Phantom Black, Burning Titanium, and Breeze Blue.

The 12GB+256GB model of the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition prices CNY 1,799, or about Rs. 21,400. It prices CNY 2,099 (around Rs. 24,900), CNY 2,299 (around Rs. 27,300), and CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 29,700) for the 16GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB models. It comes in three different color options: Chasing Waves White, Rock Black, and Wild Green. The Oppo China e-store is presently selling the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition smartphones in the nation.

OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra’s features and specifications

The 6.83-inch flat 1.5K (1,272 x 2,800 pixel) display of the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra has a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a maximum brightness of 1,400 nits, a PWM dimming rate of 3,840 Hz, and compatibility for HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision. A 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage power the phone. It is powered by ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.

The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture in addition to a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS) capability. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, NFC, USB Type-C, 5G, and dual 4G VoLTE are all supported by the phone. For biometric authentication, the phone features an optical fingerprint sensor built into the screen.

Features and specifications of the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition

The 6.77-inch 1.5K (1,080 x 2,392 pixel) AMOLED screen of the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition has a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. A 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9400e processor, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage power the phone. Also, ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15, is used by it.

The phone’s dual rear camera system includes of a 2-megapixel monochrome camera and a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS capability. The front camera sensor is identical to that of the Ultra model.

As reported by OnePlus, the Ace 5 Racing Edition also comes with the company’s Glacier cooling system and a customized “Fengchi” gaming processor. The smartphone has a 7,100mAh battery that can 80W wired fast charging. It has the same connectivity and security features as the Ultra version.
