High efficiency and seamless performance are features of both chipsets; however, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 performs marginally better in terms of CPU and GPU performance (see the chip comparison here). So the Vivo T4 is a clear choice over the T4x if you are looking for great performance.
Both T4 versions guarantee three years of security fixes and two generations of Android updates, and they come pre-installed with Android 15. From Vivo, the phones offer steady speeds and seamless operation for a maximum of 50 months.
Camera
With its 50MP primary sensor, the Vivo T4 produces stunning daytime photos with lots of detail and vivid colors. In terms of dynamic range and maintaining balanced highlights and shadows, the HDR performs admirably. As it is above average for its price category, the low-light performance is not comparable to flagships. Also, there is a supermoon mode that has a zoom of up to 20x, as opposed to the usual mode’s 10x.
Also, there is a 2MP macro camera for close-ups, which performs admirably, though occasionally the faces in the photos may be noticeably brightened and smoothed. In daytime, the T4 can capture films at up to 4K/30 frames per second with remarkable quality. Stable capture is guaranteed by the OIS, while the Ultra Stabilization setting enhances the smoothness even further at the expense of resolution (dropping to 1080p).
While it may not match the T4’s, the T4x’s 50MP primary camera likewise captures quality images in the daytime. For the price, the low-light photos are excellent. Also, there is the Night Mode, which lowers noise and improves detail even more. The T4x can also record films in 4K at 30 frames per second, albeit the T4’s quality is definitely superior. But the T4x performs admirably considering its price.
To put it briefly, the T4x shoots nice pictures considering its budget, while the Vivo T4 has better cameras.
Charging and the battery
About the battery, the Vivo T4 has the largest silicon-carbon battery in India to date, with a capacity of 7,300mAh. With moderate use, it may easily last up to two days, but with heavy use, it can easily last more than a day.
The 90W wired charging that the T4 offers takes around 30 minutes to reach 50% and an hour to reach 100%. In order to charge other devices, it also enables 7.5W reverse wired charging.
Misc
With the exception of the T4x’s higher Bluetooth standard, all phones share the same set of connectivity options. Stereo speakers are another advantage of this Vivo phone; I am not sure why Vivo has not included them in the T4. Another significant distinction between these phones is where the fingerprint scanner is located: the T4 has an under-display scanner, while the T4x has one connected to the power button.
Which is better to purchase, the Vivo T4 or the Vivo T4x?
It is obvious that the Vivo T4 is the more expensive option if you are searching for a powerful all-arounder with a better display, faster charging, greater performance, and enhanced camera capabilities. In terms of display quality, battery life, and dependable daily performance, it is perfect for consumers who need more than the bare minimum.
In contrast, the Vivo T4x offers outstanding value for the money. It is ideal for consumers on a tight budget who want excellent performance without breaking the bank because of its strong processor, good cameras, and large battery.
