Mukhyamantri Matrutva Sahayata Yojana: Haryana government has run many schemes for the benefit of the people. Especially for the benefit of women, the Haryana government has started some schemes. This year, the Haryana government has launched another scheme for the benefit of women, which is called Mukhyamantri Maternity Assistance Scheme.
Pregnant and lactating women can apply under this scheme. There are many women in Haryana who are not able to take care of themselves and their children due to poor economic condition. In such a situation, the woman and the child are mostly sick and their condition worsens. To overcome this problem, the Haryana government has started this scheme. Chief Minister Maternity Assistance Scheme started in Haryana
Former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had started this scheme for the benefit of women. The scheme has been launched for pregnant and lactating women. The Haryana government has launched this scheme on the lines of the Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana run by the Central Government. Under this scheme, pregnant women are given a sum of 5,000 from the government.
Women who have applied under the Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana run by the Central Government, while women can apply under this scheme. After applying under these two schemes, women will be given financial assistance of a total of 11000. The Haryana government has earmarked a budget of Rs 25 crore for this scheme.
What is the purpose of this scheme?
The objective of this scheme launched by the Haryana Government is to provide proper nutrition to pregnant women and their children. Very often, women die during pregnancy due to lack of financial support. At the same time, many times the child becomes a victim of malnutrition. This scheme has been launched to overcome this problem.
Under this scheme, financial assistance of 5000 is given to the woman. These ₹5000 are sent through DBT to the bank account of the women. Under this scheme, only the woman who gives birth to a son can apply. A woman who has a son with her second child can take advantage of this scheme.
The scheme will help in correcting the sex ratio of girls and boys in the state and providing proper nutrition to women. The benefit of this scheme will be given only to those women whose son has been born after March 8, 2022.
Necessary documents
The woman applying under this scheme run by the government will have to submit the necessary documents like Aadhaar card, voter ID card, basic residence certificate, income certificate, caste certificate, BPL ration card, age certificate, bank account details, passport size photo, email ID. Under this scheme, women can apply by visiting the online portal launched by the government.
