Arvind Kejriwal responds to EC on ‘poison in Yamuna’s water’ statement

Arvind Kejriwal Reply to EC : AAP national organiser Arvind Kejriwal has responded to the Election Commission on his statement that Yamuna is poisoned in water. He said that he has given this statement on the basis of the tract. Kejriwal in his reply said he did not violate the law or code of conduct. Seeking the intervention of the Election Commission, he said that contaminated water has been received from Haryana.
Give proper directions to Haryana
Arvind Kejriwal said that the Election Commission has been requested to give proper directions to Haryana so that the people of Delhi can get clean water in the right quantity. He has sent his reply to the Election Commission in detail on 31 points.
Delhi plants not able to treat Haryana’s water
In his reply, he said that Delhi gets raw water from Yamuna. The raw water that has been received from Delhi recently is very toxic for the health of the people. He said that the level of pollution in raw water is so high that Delhi’s water treatment plants have become unable to process it. He said that due to such a toxic element, the capacity of the water treatment plant has come down to some extent, which has led to a shortage of treated water in Delhi.
Also mentioned the danger of ammonia
The AAP convener said that if a person drinks such water, he may face a serious health challenge. He also mentioned the health effects of ammonia. It also included levels and effects on the kidneys in its response. It also states that high ammonia poses a risk of infant death.
