Fighting with own ones on 13 seats, triangular struggle on Jat dominated seats

Many big leaders are getting a thorny competition: There is an interesting contest on the 13 seats of the Delhi Assembly elections. The contest between the Aam Aadmi Party, the BJP and the Congress, as they are candidates of the same fraternity in these seats, makes the contest between them very interesting. In fact, you have your own competition on these seats. In these seats, Jat, Gurjar, Yadav, Vaishya and Scheduled Caste candidates are facing each other. In this way, all the candidates are engaged in getting maximum support from the voters of their fraternity. On the other hand, many big leaders are getting more tight than themselves in the seats that are contesting among candidates of a fraternity. These leaders include state Congress president Devendra Yadav, minister Raghuvinder Bhojpuri, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Vijender Gupta, former minister Rajkumar Anand.

Triangular conflict on Jat-dominated seats

The three parties have fielded candidates from the Jat fraternity in Jat-dominated areas such as Mundka, Nangloi, Matiala and Palam. Here, traditionally, Jat voters are influencing the election results. The contest on these seats is very close, as the candidates are busy mobilising the vote bank of their own fraternity. The most interesting match is being witnessed at the Nangloi seat. The candidates of the three parties in this seat belong to the amateur gotra. Delhi government minister Raghuvinder Bhojpal is facing a tough fight from former BJP MLA Manoj Bhojpal and Congress national secretary Rohit Chaudhary.

Influence of the Gurjar fraternity

Chhatarpur and Tughlaqabad seats are considered the stronghold of the Gurjar community. In these two seats, the Aam Aadmi Party, the BJP and the Congress have made an exciting contest by fielding veteran candidates of the Gurjar fraternity. During the election campaign, all parties have done their best to get a hold on to the voters of the Gurjar community. In Chhatarpur, the contest is between sitting BJP MLA Kartar Singh Tanwar and former Aam Aadmi Party MLA Brahm Prakash Tanwar.

Vaishya and Yadav fraternity seats

In Rohini seat, there is a triangular contest between the candidates of the Vaishya community. The votes of the Vaishya fraternity in this area, which is recognised as a business sector, could prove decisive. Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Vijender Gupta is putting two hands with him. Badli seat is a Yadav-dominated area, where there is a thorny contest between the Yadav candidates of the three parties. State Congress president Devendra Yadav is contesting here again.

Competition for Scheduled Caste Seats

The caste equation has also deepened on reserved seats. In areas like Bawana, Patel Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Trilokpuri and Gokalpur, a strategy has been made keeping in mind the caste of the candidates. In three of these seats, candidates of the same caste are facing each other, while in two seats, leaders of other castes are contesting against each other. Former minister Rajkumar Anand Patel is contesting from Nagar seat.
