Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojan: Know how to do self-survey

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana: This Scheme has also provided the option of self-survey this time, for which a special SOP has been issued. By entering the Aadhaar card number, any citizen can do self-survey by logging in to the “Awas Plus” portal. However, only one self-survey is allowed from one device (such as an Android phone). This facility can be utilised by the beneficiary family member. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, it has been made mandatory for women to give home ownership. Women members of eligible families are being registered as beneficiaries in the scheme.
How to fill the self-survey form of Pradhan Mantri Grameen Awas Yojana?
- Visit the official website of PMAY-G.
- Download the app for survey and registration for PMAY-G.
- Download the mobile app and complete the registration process.
- Enter Aadhaar card, mobile number and email ID to register.
- After registering, login to the app.
- Fill the survey form 2025 and enter the required information.
- Scan the requested documents and upload them to the app.
- Submit the form after filling all the information.
- After submitting the form, download the acknowledgement receipt.
Important points of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) Self-Survey
- Aadhaar card mandatory: The beneficiary must have a valid Aadhaar number to carry out self-survey.
- Login to Awas Plus Portal: The beneficiary has to log in to the Awas Plus portal.
- One device, one survey: Only one self-survey can be performed from one device (such as a smartphone).
- Family Representative Authorisation: A family member or representative can self-survey.
Eligible families of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin)
- Homeless families: Those who don’t have a home.
- Families living in rough or dilapidated houses.
- Poor and vulnerable classes like people are dependent on alms.
Disqualification criteria of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin)
- Motorised vehicles (three or four wheelers).
- Expensive agricultural equipment.
- Kisan Credit Card with a loan limit of more than ₹50,000.
- A family member is in a government job.
- A family member is paying income tax or business.
- Families earning an income of more than ₹15,000 per month.
- Owner of 2.5 acres or more of irrigated land or 5 acres of non-irrigated land.
Further, under the synergisation of resources, PMAY-G has been linked to other government schemes like Swachh Bharat Mission, Saubhagya Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana so that beneficiaries can get multiple benefits simultaneously. Disbursement of financial assistance is done directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)
