AIMIM’s entry in Okhla: The battle for the Muslim-dominated Okhla assembly seat has come to an interesting juncture with the arrival of AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen). After Asaduddin Owaisi’s public meeting, the equations have changed rapidly.
Now the war of words between you and AIMIM has also begun. AAP candidate Amanatullah Khan shared a video on X on Sunday. He accused Asaduddin Owaisi of benefitting the BJP.
Also, by the afternoon, AIMIM also countered it vigourously. Majid Hussain, MLA of the Majlis from Nampalli in Telangana, also called Amanatullah Khan Shakti Kapoor, who lives on the land of the Waqf Board.
BJP won the candidate

Responding to a public meeting in Okhla, AIMIM MLA from Nampalli, Telangana, Majid Hussain, compared Amanatullah to the villain power of Hindi films. He said that people living on the land of the Waqf Board will now speak on Asaduddin Owaisi. My Sadar can die for the people. Tere Sadar Arvind Kejriwal had accused Tablighi Jamaat of Corona pandemic.

Three strong Muslim faces, BJP can benefit
In Okhla, about 53 percent of voters are Muslim voters. The AIMIM has fielded accused Shifur Rahman Khan in the Delhi riots case. The Congress has made Ariba Khan, the daughter of Asif Mohammad Khan, who has been a two-time MLA from Okhla, while the AAP has made incumbent MLA Amanatullah Khan a face.
While the BJP has fielded municipal councillor Manish Chaudhary, who has a good penetration in the Muslim community. Having three strong Muslim faces, it is possible to disperse the votes of this class, which can directly benefit the BJP.
